Sir-Raheem Peeler
My Education
I am Sir-Raheem Peeler, a graduate student at Grand Canyon University pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. Currently I am in my practicum and internship courses. I am specializing in working with children and adolescents aged 5-18 dealing with anxiety, ADHD, ODD, depression, anger management, behavioral issues, and stress management.

Therapeutic Technique
I utilize humanistic therapy, emphasizing the importance of recognizing each client's unique subjective experience and creating a safe, supportive environment in which they can feel heard and validated. I have worked in community settings with children and their families, and my method is grounded in the principles of behavior modification, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
My Competence
As a Graduate Intern, my areas of competence include providing social skills and skillstreaming lessons to children and adolescents from 6-18. I have provided those skills individually and in groups in the school setting as well as the community. I am not able to prescribe medication to clients.
